Ep 76: Film Festivals

From The Disability Visibility Project: For More Info, Go Here…

Today’s episode is about film festivals and I speak with Alex Locust and Karen Nakamura, two jury members for the Superfest Disability Film Festival, a festival organized by the Paul K. Longmore Institute on Disability at San Francisco State University. Alex and Karen talk about what it’s like to be on a jury, what it means to have a film festival that’s radically inclusive and centered on disabled audiences, and how festivals like Superfest are advancing disability representation.
