Michigan’s Medicaid chief has been placed on paid administrative leave pending a formal state complaint, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) confirmed Friday.
Dr. David Neff, the chief medical director for the state’s Medicaid program, was placed on leave May 9 after the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs (LARA) filed a complaint against him, according to DHHS spokesperson Lynn Sutfin.
